Telehealth is excellent for the things a camera and a conversation can settle, and useless for the things that need a stethoscope, an otoscope or a pair of hands. We are blunt about which is which.

- Pink eye, cold sores and simple skin infections
- Cold, cough and sinus symptoms without breathing trouble
- Uncomplicated urinary symptoms in a non-pregnant adult
- Medication questions and a short bridge supply of a non-controlled maintenance medication
- Going over test results from a previous QuickCare visit
- Wound recheck when you can hold the camera steady on it
Come in instead
- Anything that needs listening to your chest, feeling your abdomen or looking in an ear
- A cut that may need closing
- A possible fracture, sprain or joint injury
- Chest pain, breathlessness, fainting or new confusion: call 911
- Fever in an infant under 3 months
- Physicals, drug screens and any employer paperwork
- Controlled substances, which are never prescribed by video
How it runs

What you need
- A phone, tablet or laptop with a working camera and microphone
- To be physically located in Oklahoma at the time of the visit, which licensing requires
- Photo identification, shown on camera
- Your medication list and your pharmacy name
- Good light, if we need to look at something on your skin
A video visit is a real clinical encounter with real limits. If the provider cannot safely assess you on camera, they will say so and the visit fee is credited against a clinic visit the same day. If this is a medical emergency, call 911.
